RULES REGULATION

SCHOOL UNIFORM

a)  Colour dress is not allowed. The uniform consists of a smoke blue pleated skirt and white blouse, with a monogram, black ribbons, white socks with double blue rules and black shoes (with a strap)

b)  In winter CHILLY RED BLAZERS for Std. I – X of the school pattern and long black stockings or leggings will be worn. Parents will kindly see that their children come to school in full uniform, neat and clean. Faded skirts will not be allowed. Nobody should enter the school (on class days) without the complete school uniform.

c)  Uniform for XI and XII
Cream blouse with a monogram and red checked skirts, black shoes, white socks. In winter black blazer, of the school pattern will be worn. The length of the skirt will be below the knees.

d)  No ornaments should be worn, no style permitted. The student must be simply dressed. Use of Nail Polish, Lipstick & “Mehendi” are not permitted. Charms, rings etc. which are seen may not be worn for whatever reasons. Hair should be neatly kept

NOTE FOR PARENTS

Parents and Guardians are requested to co-operate with the school authorities:

  • *by urging their wards to regular and punctual attendance.
  • *Parents will ensure that their wards are on time for the morning assembly. Please note that the gate will be closed at an stipulated time.
  • *by following up the reports which keep them informed of their studies and the behaviour of their wards.
  • *by occasionally meeting the Principal to discuss the progress of their children.
  • *by seeing that their wards enter daily in the diary the lessons given.
  • *by not sending for their children during class hours except in a case of unforseen urgency, in such a
  • case a written application must be made.
  • *by paying the fees well on time, note that the student will not be allowed to answer the exams/unit tests/or any other test if the fees are not paid by the stipulated time. If the non-payment goes beyond the instalment quarter, the student’s name may be struck off in the admission register.
  • *The children will carry their own Tiffin. Bringing in Tiffin later in the day is not permitted.
  • *Please note that it is a compulsory CISCE Board requirement for classes IX, X, XI + XII to have a minimum 75% attendance to be promoted to the next class/or for appearing at the Board Exams as the case may be.
  • *Mobile phones, I-pods, camera, tablets, laptop and other electronic gadgets are strictly forbidden. The above mentioned gadgets if seized by the school authority will not be returned to the students. Those who break this rule will have to bear the penalties.
  • *Parents will give the correct telephone number for any emergency calls. Please notify the school for any change in telephone numbers.

DISCIPLINE

Students who have been absent from class, must have the reason entered in the Regularity Record, stating briefly the cause of the absence or delay. Reasons of a private nature may be stated in a letter. No leave of absence is given without a previous written application from the guardian.

Absence from class

(a) for birthday, marriage feasts, excursions,
(b) in view of anticipating or extending school vacation,
(c) in order to study for examination, is strongly objected to.

  • Physical Education is compulsory. Exemption will be allowed only on Producing the Medical Certificate.
  • Participation in Co-curricular activities is a must. It promotes the all round development of a child.
  • Regular attendance is compulsory. Internal assessment will be done in the form of weekly tests maintained in a record book, annual grades will be entered in the report card on the basis of tests, to determine the promotion to the higher class.
  1. Every student must be present on the re-opening day of the school after the Summer, Puja and Christmas vacations.
  2. Continuous absence of 15 days or more without leave, will be considered equivalent to the withdrawal of the student from school and her name will be struck off the rolls.
  3. A medical certificate must be produced for absence, due to a contagious, infectious or any other illness.
  4. When pupils go from one class to another they will do so in silence and in order. They will never leave the class without the permission from the teacher, nor the school premises without the permission from the principal.
  5. Pupils are expected to make good, use of the furniture and library books.
  6. No books, newspapers or periodicals may be brought to the school without the sanction of the principal. If such are addressed to them, and also the letters they receive, will be subject to inspection by the school authorities.
  7. No subscription can be raised without the permission of the principal. No gift may be made to the members of the staff unless permitted by the principal.
